Teen Boys & Parents

As a therapist, teacher and mentor I support the developmental unfolding of teenage boys by helping them transform difficult issues related to:

•Separation and Divorce
•Single parenting
•Depression & anxiety
•Social isolation, including spending hours on the computer
•Bullying
•Sexuality
•Risk-taking behavior, including drug and alcohol use
•Under achievement, falling grades and discipline problems at school

I am grateful to be a guide for teenage boys, to offer support through the often difficult journey of adolescence. With presence, humor and an open heart, I  help teen boys begin to define themselves and their relationships, to form a healthy sense of self, while building strong bonds to friends and family. My work in therapy often includes phototherapy, a technique using photographs and creative writing to help teens creatively express their emerging inner life–thoughts, feelings, wishes, dreams and desires.
